Taipei Halvdags Privat Jiufen & Kattbytur

My sisters and I are so glad we did this private tour! Our tour guide was Henry. He came earlier than the scheduled time and we had a chance to eat breakfast at a spot he recommended before we started the tour. We went to Shifen waterfall, released a lantern at Shifen, took a pit stop at Keelung market for lunch, visited Houtong cat village, then ended the tour at Jiufen. The original tour comes with a ride back to your accommodations but we wanted to spend more time at Jiufen, so Henry helped us by giving us directions on how to get back. Henry was a very knowledgeable tour guide and told us facts about Taiwan we would have otherwise not known about if we had planned the trip ourselves. He helped us take photos and was very prepared for Taiwan’s rain and humidity. He gave us a bunch of recommendations which we really appreciate! I would 100% recommend this private tour. It felt like traveling with a friend and was a highlight of our Taiwan trip! (=

Jag rekommenderar detta starkt, vad skulle vi ha gjort om vi inte hade bokat det? Min syster och jag reste tillsammans, och vår chaufför och guide anpassade allt efter oss och förklarade allt mycket väl. Stort tack till Nicolas! Vi behövde gå på toaletten ofta och det tog lång tid att ta bilder, men han visade oss de bästa fotoplatserna och förstod våra behov perfekt. Trots att det regnade hade han ett stort paraply redo, och han tipsade oss om souvenirbutiker och bra restauranger, vilket gjorde resan till den bästa tänkbara. Han talade också utmärkt engelska och gav detaljerade förklaringar, vilket hjälpte oss att förstå Taiwan mycket bättre. Jag rekommenderar verkligen en privat tur framför en busstur. Tack så mycket!

司機小林細心而且彈性的服務，令我對台灣的感覺倍感親切。司機會在到接我們的地點前15分鐘通知，這個細心的舉動，真的令我們加分。因小林有顧及遊客的感受，此舉不會打擾遊客到台灣旅遊時的行程。在旅遊體驗10分與九份的路程中，他亦會幫我們拍了很好看的照片。而且他會因為路面各樣交通情況，幫我們安排到所有景點觀光的時序，回程時小林有駕駛豐富經驗，他在繁忙時段都能找到一條快捷而較為通暢的路面送我們回酒店。到九份十分旅遊的那天，小林讓我們整個旅程非常圓滿。感激。🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

젠틀하신 Caleb 기사님 덕분에 엄마랑 첫 해외 효도 관광 성공적으로 마무리 할 수 있었습니다! 다른 버스 투어들도 잘 되어있지만 프라이빗한 여행이고 싶어서 택시 투어를 선택했어요 ㅎㅎ 운전도 편하게 잘 해주시고 각 투어장소 시간도 넉넉하게 주셔서 구경하는데는 무리 없었습니다! 영어로 대화 충분히 가능하셔서 소통하는 데에도 문제 없었어요 ㅎㅎ 내리는 장소도 숙소 아니고 야시장으로 부탁드렸는데 들어주셨어요~ 이건 가이드분들마다 다르겠지만 일정 조정해서 말씀드려도 될 것 같아용! 덕분에 펑리수랑 누가크래커도 맛있는거 싸게 잘 사왔어요 ㅎㅎ Caleb님 감사합니다 :)

We had a smooth and comfortable journey to all the places with Alex. He told us what we needed to know and was well informed and knowledgeable about the areas. Highly recommend to take this for comfort. Personally did not like Jiufen as it was too crowded.

Thank you Vincent for giving us a tour we will forever remember! The schedule was perfect giving us just enough time to see each place. He took us in and out of each area so we wouldn’t get lost especially through Jiufen. He was very accommodating to our young son which made the trip even more enjoyable. We ended the tour with dinner reservations at a tea house with a beautiful view. Vincent even took pictures of our family and became our personal photographer! Highly reccomend booking this tour!

Jiufen, Shifen and the Cat Village are such lovely places to visit in Taiwan. We're so glad we booked this. Sean is a very professional, knowledgeable, and provided such good service during our trip. Kudos to Sean!

I highly, HIGHLY recommend this tourguide (Bubble is his name!) and this tour. Bubble was AMAZING, his car was clean and comfortable, and not only that but he himself was very accommodating. He introduced each place with enthusiasm and most importantly, showed us where bathrooms were at every location. He even gave free bottles of water just in case. Bubble gave us detailed maps and annotated them himself too, helping us understand each place well. Best tour guide EVER, would 100% pick him again if I come back to Taiwan. Be sure to go on this tour if you want your trip to be memorable!

We had a lovely private tour led by our guide Vincent. He messaged the evening before with plenty of information / pictures of himself, including reconfirming the pick up venue / time; arrived early and waited patiently; was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. One thing to note is that the tour isn’t really stroller friendly but Vincent helped my husband to carry our kid + stroller at the sights so that was very helpful and much appreciated. I saw other reviews mentioning how they were asked to pay more on the spot as the tour ended “late” so I was slightly worried as we only reached back to our hotel at 5+/6pm when the tour is supposed to end at 4pm (traffic was bad, and Vincent accommodated a short nap in the carpark for the kids). But no such thing for us! Very pleasant experience.

Amazing experience!! Our guide, Jack, was amazing!! He was on time, knowledgeable, and very considerate of our time and with our daughter, 6yo. We originally booked a group tour, when that was unexpectedly canceled we made the decision to do the private tour. TOTALLY WORTH IT!! I highly recommend all look into this option if it works with your plans! Jack knew the area, knew the best spots for photos, and he even too group shots and provided them to us afterwards!
