The hotel location is one of my highlights I can walk at dawn and it is in the heart of the city. The staff is awesome very kind very hospitable, our bed is like so soft so relaxing. Really an experience I was looking for with my husband.

We met a staff person as we entered the hotel. Very odd that there was no front desk. Self service check-in was a bit odd. The room was spacious, clean, but utilitarian and devoid of any kind of charm. Bare bones. Good location in town, and we were facing the courtyard of the large church next door. (which we toured during a bout of bad weather). Food in the restaurant was uninspired and nothing special. A good value if you just need a place to sleep, and not spend much time there. Great location, clean and and well maintained. This is a virtual checkin hotel. So be prepared to have a pin to access front door and use a tablet to check in and get keys. Staff answered the phone quickly when we needed help.

At first I was a little concerned about the self check-in process, with no staff on sight. We happened to check in the same time as another group, and it all went smoothly. Our room was spacious, simple and clean. The bed was comfortable, the shower/bathroom was good, and the location of this historic building was ideal. The portable air conditioner worked great. (No TV, which was fine). One of the floors has a fridge filled with bottled water, cans of Coke and beer - at no charge. This was a nice bonus. I would stay here again.

I didn't realize this place is not staffed, so that was our only issue when arriving at 10am after an overnight flight with no place to store luggage. A really helpful guy at the plant store next door told us there would be a code to let us in, etc., but with no one to talk to and no way to call due to our limited data plan, it took us awhile to figure it out. If you need to store luggage, there's a luggage storage place inside a jewelry store just a few min walk away (look up Radical Storage) so we were able to get on with exploring the city. Once we came back to check in later in the afternoon, someone from the restaurant let us in and helped us with check-in, so when staff are around, they were helpful! Room itself was clean, comfortable and spacious. Fans available on request but would be nice to just have one in the room since staff isn't always available. We only stayed one night and didn't eat at the restaurant but it looked nice. If you know what you're getting, this place is totally fine! It's on me for not reading closely enough when I booked it.

The room smelled of food, probably because the poor ventilation somehow vented the kitchen up to our bathroom. We complained to the staff, but they could not do anything. No TV and no telephone in the room. Check-in and check-out was with a screen; no staff. I never experienced this before. You cannot call this a hotel.

Fantastic location. Self check in, no staff present. No fridge in room but a hallway fridge with waters, soda, beers , and a coffee machine. Great coffee shop right in the square. The Chapeau
