The location and staff were great. The room itself was a bit dated but clean. The problem was that it was extremely hot in the 4th floor room even with the overhead ceiling fan, I couldn’t sleep at all. Overall I would stay here again but maybe not in the heat of summer

Easy walking distance from the railway station. Perfect location for sight seeing. Lovely breakfast, great coffee and even Champagne offered for a Mimosa for breakfast.
One slight hiccup. We were offered a 10% discount at the Beer Hall next door. Remember to tell the waitress as you order that you are staying at the hotel. We did not and they did would not honour the 10% when the bill was presented!
Otherwise perfect.

Excellent location in Old Lucerne and walkable to all attractions, trains, boats. Not suitable for wheelchairs as two steps from front desk to elevator. Two nights well spent in the area. Loved Lucerne!

Overall the property, the staff, the room, were good. Single traveler in small room was adequate, however the shower was tight. The included breakfast was limited but good and helped ease costs, with the high prices in Switzerland. The property was central and walking distance to everything you would want, including the Train Station. Church bells ring to some degree, every half hour of the day, however you will hear them where ever you stay in the old town. The old town is beautiful and I would stay in this location if I was return.

We had a great stay at Boutique Hotel Weisses Kreuz. The location was perfect—right in the heart of Lucerne, close to the river and within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. The hotel offered breakfast, and having a restaurant attached to the hotel was very convenient. The staff were all incredibly friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!
