Fantastické Perfect, clean and spacious place to stay, a few minutes walk from Kyoto Station in a very quiet and charming neighbourhood.

Really friendly people and such a comfy place. It's near the train station and not far from many sites.

The hotel doesn't have many rooms, so it was quiet. Also there was a laundry on our floor which was easy to use (detergent was provided). The only thing I didn't like about the room was that there was only a desk chair, so we had to sit on the bed to eat, lounge etc.

Good position. Did not know the room would not be serviced during our stay until we got there. Also no lift and on the 3rd floor, bit of struggle with suitcase. Otherwise no complaints.

Can't say enough great things about our stay at Racine Home and the manager there. Very large room and shower/bath for a Japanese hotel. Even provided scented bath salts for the Japanese deep bath in the bathroom. One of very few I was able to find in our 4 city trip to have a queen bed! Great, quiet area walking distance from restaurants, and about 15 minute walk to Kyoto Station for all trains and buses. The manager was outstanding, going above and beyond to provide recommendations, even made reservations for us as she speaks English very well. The onsite cafe/bar was great, order the Shabu-shabu!

Very nice and cozy. I wish they were open earlier as we got to the place around 10:30am just to realize they don't open till 1pm.
