Čo robiť v Blue Mountains

This was the Blue Mountains tour, and it was easily one of the most satisfying itineraries of my trip to Australia! 💙🤍🇦🇺 We had a jam-packed day, starting from Featherdale Wildlife Park all the way to Scenic World in the Blue Mountains. :) At Featherdale Wildlife Park, it was so wonderful to see and interact up close with animals that can only be found in Australia! At Scenic World, I originally went expecting some fun amusement park rides, but I was so surprised to learn that they were actually used to transport coal back in the day! It was even more shocking to realize they operated at such dizzying heights under far worse conditions than we have now. Also, thanks to the truly gorgeous weather today (clear skies right after yesterday's rain), the alcohol from the eucalyptus trees interacting with the air created that distinctive blue haze, allowing us to see the Blue Mountains quite literally living up to their name! The fresh air and unique scent of nature were so soothing to the soul. ㅎㅎ Beyond just visiting a famous tourist spot, hearing about the culture, history, and stories of Australia really made me fall more and more in love with the country! Plus one more thing!! The grand finale of today's tour!! Our guide's very own special viewpoint in the mountains!! It was such a peaceful and wonderful place to fully soak in untouched nature. Walking on the actual soil, brushing past the trees, and touching the rocks—when would I ever get to experience something like this once I'm back in Korea?! (And our guide is basically a professional photographer, too ㅎㅎ / I haven't transferred the photos yet since they're on their second phone, which is such a pity ㅠ) The bottom line is!!!! I highly, highly recommend the Blue Mountains tour to anyone planning a trip to Australia 🤍 (On top of that, our guide hosts a star-gazing sunset tour? Although I heard they only joined us for today...! Such a meaningful coincidence! So, as a little tip, I learned that for a sunset tour, the weather shouldn't be too clear or too cloudy! If it's cloudy, the clouds block the stars, and if it's too clear (= moonlight), the moonlight washes out the stars so they aren't visible. When we visited on October 24th, the moon phase was at 99(?), meaning tomorrow was almost a full moon! It would be great to keep things like this in mind when planning your visit!) However, since everything ultimately comes down to a bit of luck on the day, I wish you good luck~ 🍀

The tour today with our guide Kelvin was so informative and fun! First, I wanted to check my physical condition before deciding on the tour, so I booked it the morning of. The reservation was confirmed quickly, and the meeting point was easy to find! On the way to Featherdale, he gave us detailed explanations of the zoo and the animals' characteristics, and let us know where they gathered, which was great! Personally, I liked it waaaay more than Taronga because we could see the animals up close, freely feed and touch quokkas, kangaroos, mountain goats, and more! Highly, highly recommended...!!! While heading to the Blue Mountains, it rained, so our guide kept checking the weather conditions while explaining things, took us to the best viewpoints first, and thanks to that, we were able to see the mountains with a clear view!!! For dinner, he gave detailed and honest recommendations for restaurants, and when he asked each of us which restaurant we wanted to go to after getting off and showed us the locations, I was so moved..😢😍 Thanks to him, we saw the sunset, and even though we weren't originally supposed to see the stars, he found a clear sky to show them to us and took so many pretty pictures, which I am truly grateful for! Personally, I think the number of participants and the guide are the most important factors in a tour, but since there were fewer than 20 people, it was easy for everyone to get around together. Our guide always smiled, had a great voice, and really tried to help us get great photos—he was truly the best!:) Considering that there is no zoo admission fee from morning to evening, I think this is a super-duper cost-effective tour! (When I compared prices everywhere, this was the cheapest!) Thank you so much for all your hard work, guide!👍🏻

Super lucky to get the brightest and welcoming guide Ric, and Nish for bringing us on this wholesome day out. Sydney zoo has the cutest koala for u to take a snap with, and a huge range of animals (mostly out of Lion King haha). Scenic world was fun as well, not to mention the various viewpoints along blue mountain.

Vyzdvihnutie bolo z nášho hotela, čo bolo super pohodlné. Náš sprievodca Perry je veľmi priateľský, pretože vie hovoriť kantónsky aj anglicky. Náš výlet do Modrých hôr sme si užili, pretože sme si mohli vyskúšať všetky 3 vyhliadkové jazdy. Naozaj sa nám to páčilo. Nielen to, počas tohto výletu sme si urobili veľa fotografií. Bolo to veľmi nezabudnuteľné.

Skvelý zážitok. Veľmi sa mi páčilo v sydneyskej zoo. Modré hory sú tiež pekné, ale kiežby som mal viac času, aby som si to miesto mohol viac preskúmať. Čas, ktorý sme mali, nebol dostatočný na to, aby sme si miesto užili. Len tak akurát na vyskúšanie všetkých troch atrakcií.

Všetko stálo za to… Počnúc naším vždy vedomostne zdatným, milým, sladkým a vtipným sprievodcom až po všetky zastávky, ktoré sme počas dňa urobili. Toto je prehliadka, ktorú musíte absolvovať, a radi by sme si ju zopakovali aj nabudúce 😊

Jayden bol úžasný sprievodca! Prehliadka bola poučná a Jayden bol počas nejveľmi nápomocný. Trasa výletu je tiež krásna, nádherná scenéria Modrých vrchov bola naozaj veľkolepá! Jayden mal počas celého výletu aj dobré odporúčania! Miesto na obed bolo tiež oveľa lepšie, než sa očakávalo - thajské jedlo je skvelé! Celkovo sme si to fantasticky užili. :)

We did a half day tour to Blue Montains, because we don’t want it to be full day and go somewhere else (like zoos etc) other than Blue Montains. And we found last minute about this tour that perfectly matches with what we were looking for. Nabil and Frank were amazing, very chill, friendly and gave us a lot of insights.. and most importantly gave us the space to explore on our own. The tour was on point. Thanks to Nabil & Frank we got to visit nice spots and places. I would totally recommend it to those who want to visit Blue Montains without losing a day to visit other place in the city. It started at 8am and finished at 3 or 4pm.

Pretty easy to redeem and there is free parking. However the discount on klook is not that much. If I buy it at the counter it will cost about the same as klook.
