Čo robiť v Tropical Spice Garden

Trať je dosť náročná, najmä keďže dnes prichádza veľa turistov. Celkovo je to dobré vidieť, hoci som trochu sklamaný z niektorých miest, ktoré ešte nie sú pripravené pre návštevníkov. Možno je mapa mätúca, neviem.

Absolvovali sme skvelú poldennú prehliadku v Balik Pulau! Náš sprievodca CC bol mimoriadne pozorný a veľmi dobre sa vyznal v dedičstve. Začal tým, že nás zoznámil s bedak sejuk (chladivým púdrom), stáročnou tradíciou starostlivosti o pleť v Penangu – taký jedinečný kultúrny skvost! Potom sme si vychutnali vynikajúce vyprážané ploché rezance (Char Hor Fun) v miestnej reštaurácii v Balik Pulau. Hoci továreň na Belacan bola zatvorená, CC si aj tak našiel čas a podrobne nám vysvetlil celý proces výroby belacanu. Zdieľal tiež fascinujúce poznatky v továrni na muškátový oriešok, na festivale Container Art a všetko to zakončil lahodnou ochutnávkou durianu. Jeho vysvetlenie dizajnu a funkčnosti malajského domu Kampong bolo skutočným vrcholom. CC vrelo odporúčame!

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, and while the area near the cable car station was crowded, the park itself was noticeably less so. It was a rare opportunity for a forest bath, and the environment was very well preserved. The scenery was incredibly beautiful, and the treetop walk and skywalk offered great photo opportunities. As mentioned in other reviews, the network coverage nearby was very poor, and there was no network at all inside the park, so it's essential to prepare an offline QR code in advance. We didn't see any monkeys or squirrels in the park that day, and staff suggested they are easier to spot in the morning. However, we were lucky enough to encounter them all outside the park! Be aware that there are a lot of mosquitoes and insects inside the park; even after applying repellent, we were still a 'crazy buffet' for them, so be prepared. After exploring, there was a free shuttle bus back to the cable car station, which was a great arrangement.

Tento výlet na Penang Hill bol absolútnou radosťou, najmä vďaka nášmu sprievodcovi LEE WEI. Určite by som turistom odporučil, aby si ho vybrali, pretože bol mimoriadne zdvorilý, pohostinný a trpezlivý! Celý itinerár bol ním veľmi dobre načasovaný a naplánovaný! Vrelo odporúčam 😊

We enjoyed our guided tour with Rana who is knowledgeable about fruit trees he introduced to us and we enjoyed eating the different fruits besides the juice and fruits package we bought via Klook. Overall a fun tour but beware can be very hot and mosquitoes too. Also you can request the ticketing office to help book taxi to leave the place as we are near to closing time at 5:15 pm.

10/10, zopakoval by som znova. Zákaznícky servis odpovedal tak rýchlo! Dostali sme pomoc od personálu. Všetko prebehlo hladko.

Príjemný zážitok. Náš sprievodca, pán Teh, bol veľmi dobre informovaný o meste Penang a histórii čínskych chrámov. Veľmi dobre nám vysvetlil čínsku mytológiu chrámu.

It was raining heavily in the morning, but we were able to enter the facility. It's reassuring to have an umbrella when visiting the butterfly area. Inside, there are many indoor insect exhibits, so you can enjoy yourself even if it's raining. We spent a leisurely three hours exploring. There's also a restaurant, and the pasta and Malay dishes were delicious. There weren't any drinks available for children, so I recommend bringing your own beverages. There were no vending machines inside the facility. My child was thrilled to see and touch both taxidermied and live insects. The rain stopped partway through, and we were able to enjoy the butterflies in the butterfly garden. If it's raining, the butterflies tend to rest, so I recommend visiting the indoor exhibits first. The Entopia original T-shirt was cute, so I bought it as a souvenir. We had a wonderful time. Experience: Excellent

We were very fortunate to have Mr Eric Ng as our guide: - Eric was very kind to pick us up from our hotel as we were the only guests that morning. - Our first stop was to see the sunrise from the peak of Penang Hill. Though the clouds hid the sunrise from view, it was still a great experience guided by the very humourous and knowledgeable Eric. - We rode the tram, walked around the lush green hills in lovely cool air, saw the Hindu temple & bronze canon etc. while Eric shared about the fascinating history and culture. We even met a handsome kitty on the viewing platform. :) - Next we visited Air Itam morning market to taste some delicious local foods such as curry noodles, char kway teow, roti canai etc. - We also visited the local Kek Lok Si temple. - The last stop was a visit to a local coffee producer for tasing and shopping. I totally recommend Mr Eric Ng as your guide for this very enjoyable tour.
