Mt. Moiwa Ropeway & Observation Deck offer one of the best viewpoints in Sapporo. Simply exchange your QR code for a physical ticket, then join the queue for the ropeway and connecting cable car to the summit. The ropeway cabins are spacious and can accommodate many passengers. I highly recommend arriving before sunset and staying into the evening — you'll get to enjoy both daytime and nighttime views, each with its own unique charm. The panoramic scenery from the observation deck is absolutely stunning, overlooking Sapporo city, the surrounding mountains, and the distant coastline. A must-visit attraction when in Sapporo.

Easily bought a ticket on Klook and you need to exhange the voucher at the ticket counter. We went there during sunset and the place is jam packed. Kindly bring your jacket since the temperature during night time is too cold. Overall, the views from above during day and night is both worth visiting.

its easy to redeem. same line, no special line for voucher but very easy to redeem. you exchange it with actual tickets. there were lines going up and down. but the views of the window are awesome especially sunset and at night. the ropeway itself can accomodate alot of people. its very cold up there. a little crowded on a monday

We had a great time and enjoyed the cable rise to the top of the mountain. Not too crowded the time we went there. Got to see snowy mountains and cold breeze.

Went in winter at around sunset 3.30pm-ish so we’ll get to experience both daylight and night lights. There weren’t that many people around despite weekend but the queue to come back down is quiet long. There’s a cafe uphill where you can chill, and you’ll have to exchange Klook ticket but it’s pretty straight forward as you will pass thru the ticket counter to go to the elvator anyway.

the package are complete until the mini cable car to the summit, no need to worries about buying any other ticket. just go to counter and claim the ticket. then present the ticket all along until you want to go back down. can play snow, can eat hot baked potato at restaurant. so much fun and easy when booking with klook.

The whole experience was absolutely seamless! I just showed the voucher code and instantly got a physical ticket for the round-trip gondola lift and the smaller cable car ride to the peak. The views were breathtaking — the city wrapped in snow looked magical, and I can only imagine how stunning it must be during autumn. I had such a great time enjoying the snow and taking in the bird’s-eye view of the entire city. Truly a must-try experience for anyone visiting!

Best view in Sapporo. Glad we were still able to visit on our last day in Hokkaido on July 31, 2025. There was a mechanical inspection when we arrived on July 22, 2025. Just presented the voucher to redeem the tickets.
