What a wonderful cultural evening at the Sumo Show in Sapporo. Even though there were only two audience members: my son and I, the team — an engaging MC and two impressive wrestlers — still gave us very professional and warm treatment, which made the experience even more memorable. The team introduced and demonstrated the traditions, rituals and spirit behind Japan’s national sport in a lively and entertaining way. Watching the wrestlers demonstrate their techniques and strength was fascinating. The geisha performance was elegant and beautiful, and the mochi-making demonstration was energetic and fun. Two pieces of handmade mochi to takeaway! The food was delicious and perfect for an icy cold early spring evening in Sapporo. A lovely combination of culture, humour and hospitality — highly recommended!

I rally had fun in this show. one of the best experience i had in sapporo.

What an experience! Washi the host was hilarious and so were the sumo wrestlers. Enjoyed the food and the show.

The staff and Sumo Wrestlers were very entertaining and kept the audience engaged. we learned the making of potato mochi by pounding. They gave us lessons on how they warm up before a match. we were able to see the match. We would definitely recommend for the experience.

What great value for money. The meal was huge and the show had a bit of history so you understood everything and then onto the main matches. A great experience not to be missed !

An enjoyable show for the family. Dinner was ample and delicious. We have long wanted to watch a Sumo show but never got the chance. thankful for Klook for putting this show in ur list of activities to do in Sapporo

great fun with Warsi presenting. he was excellent and really brought joy to the show. Hokuden and Hokudou were our rashiki, they were good showman. we had a fantastic time and. I got to try and push hokudou at the end, their strength is immense. thanks to all the staff who made it a special evening
