Hong Ding Yan · Prvá značka čínskeho kultúrneho predstavenia Hotpot

We had a wonderful experience at Hong Ding Yan! As we couldn’t eat beef n spicy food, the staff thoughtfully arranged pork and tomato soup as alternatives, which we really appreciated. The performances were enjoyable and added to the overall experience. The only slight disappointment was that there was no 川剧变脸 (Sichuan face-changing performance). Overall, it was a lovely dining experience, and we truly appreciated their attentive service!

It was a great experience. The steamboat was delicious and the show was well put up. One small glitch is we are not informed about the upgrade of our package for photoshoot at receiption until we saw others taking then we ask. In the end we had to do it after dinner and was very rush.

Overall, the experience was enjoyable. One of the key advantages of the VIP package is the seating arrangement, which allows guests to enjoy the performance from the front with an unobstructed view. VIP guests also receive their dishes more promptly, enhancing the overall dining experience. The quality of the food was acceptable and reasonably aligned with the price paid. One point that could be communicated more clearly is that the VIP package does not automatically include makeup and costume services. These must be booked separately as part of a makeup package. We only became aware of this upon arrival and paid the additional charges on-site. Furthermore, no professional photoshoot was included with the package. For those intending to dress up and take photographs, I would strongly recommend arriving at least two hours before the performance. This provides sufficient time for costume selection, makeup application, and photography before the show begins.

the staff rescheduled us and upgraded us to VIP (front row seats get the full experience!). we had dietary restrictions too and they catered to that without problems. overall, this was the highlight of my entire chengdu trip. the performances were mesmerising, the service was impeccable and the performers were all engaging and good looking in their costumes.

This lunch at Hong Ding Yan was the highlight of our Chengdu trip! Celebrating Chinese New Year here was truly unforgettable. The hotpot was outstanding — fresh ingredients, rich and flavorful broth, and authentic Sichuan taste. The cultural performance added an amazing festive atmosphere, making the experience both fun and immersive. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Chengdu — a perfect combination of delicious food, vibrant culture, and unforgettable memories!

The food was fairly good and service was paced well with the performance. Performance also had interesting links to Chengdu. It was a good experience overall.

Hong Ding Yan was worth every penny. The dining experience was exceptional, with unlimited flower wine and premium ingredients, including whole abalone and sea cucumber. If you don’t eat beef or have any other dietary requirements, the staff are happy to accommodate your requests and provide suitable alternatives. Of course, the highlight of the evening was the spectacular performance. In my opinion, it was even better than a similar dining experience we had in Suzhou. Overall, it was a memorable experience that I would highly recommend.
