Prehliadka jedla pešo po nočnom trhu Raohe v Taipei

Naša sprievodkyňa May Ei bola fantastická. Cítili sme sa s ňou uvoľnene a príjemne, napriek tomu, že sme navštívili trh počas veľmi rušného víkendu. Bola informovaná, nadšená a starostlivá. Vyskúšali sme toľko chutných jedál a May Ei nám pomohla nájsť veci, o ktorých by sme inak nevedeli, že ich máme vyskúšať. Ukázala nám aj chrám, čo bol skutočne fascinujúci zážitok – bola taká informovaná a nadšená, že sa s nami podelila o svoju kultúru a históriu. Jej prehliadku by sme odporučili každému. Ďakujeme, May Ei.

Náš sprievodca bol veľmi priateľský a venoval nám čas na zodpovedanie našich otázok. Vzhľadom na rušnú povahu trhu a sprevádzanie malej skupiny je pre sprievodcu nemožné zastaviť sa s každým, aby si niečo kúpil. Ocenil som vysvetlenia niektorých jedál a históriu trhu. Avšak, keďže väčšina predajcov má anglické menu alebo naozaj dobré označenie, tento trh určite zvládnete aj sami. Možno si vopred pozrite pár videí na YouTube, aby ste sa s trhom oboznámili.

Had such a great time touring with Richard! He’s an amazing host — informative, accommodating, and always making sure we were okay, even looking after us throughout the night. I learned so much about Taiwan, and it was such a fun experience exploring with him as our tour guide!

Joseph, our guide, is nice. He tried all the options in the night market so he knows which one is good and which ones are not so good. However, I think, food tours are better for markets larger than Roahe.

Susan was a fabulous guide! Me and my family wanted to try a wide variety of dishes and felt that without her guidance we'd have had trouble identifying delicious but more unusual dishes than what we're used to. She also walked us around the temple next to the market and her explanations and insights helped us better understand the religious culture in Taipei. The things she taught us helped us through the rest of our time in the country!

Evelyn was our "personal" guide for the Rahoe Night Market. She led us through the market as it were her home kitchen. She answered question after question without hesitation. She helped my wife with her personal needs like she were her own mother. We would definitely consider doing this tour again but would demand that Klook assign Evelyn as our guide.

In all honesty, my wife and I could have walked around on our own and still enjoyed ourselves. However, Ivy turned it into an experience we’ll remember for a lifetime. I’ll be talking about this for months with my friends, reliving the incredible food we got to experience. We will absolutely be back, and I truly hope Ivy is available again.

Vicky was absolutely wonderful. She took me to such interesting local stalls and encouraged me to try amazing food I might not have discovered on my own. I really appreciated how she explained how each dish was made and shared the history behind it, which made the experience so meaningful. She was very kind, patient, and knowledgeable throughout the tour. I would definitely recommend her to anyone visiting.

Our guide helped us cut through the noise and go straight to the good stuff. Just a heads-up: food isn’t included in the tour, so make sure to bring cash for anything you want to sample.
