10/10 experience - well worth the time and money. Kaori-san was absolutely wonderful!! This cooking class has been our favorite Toyko experience by far. Not only did she teach us how to cook gyoza, ramen, gyoza sauce, and chili oil, she also taught us useful Japanese phrases and gave us cards for restaurants to ask if they have any vegan options. If you are vegetarian or vegan, this class is a must.
Our hostess was very knowledgable and patient. We made delicious soup and gyoza wuth excellent demonstration and explanation by Keumi. all in all it was a unique and wondeful experience. I highy recommend it.
Beautiful experience, highly recommended! Kaori welcomed us very kindly, we took a tour of the market before starting the cooking class. The dishes we prepared were absolutely delicious, and Kaori patiently explained all the recipes and shared many interesting facts about Japan. We will take home a wonderful memory and new recipes to share with our friends.
a very fun class! it was very personal and we got to know Japanese cooking better while having a great time! the host is so nice and friendly and the food were absolutely amazing!
kaori is the most kind person. she pick us up from the metro station, showed us in supermarket some Japonese products that we’d use in the class and explained about them. at her house, she started to teach us some japonese words and we helped her chopping, mixing, cutting ingredients. she explained step by step and had the recipe and sent it to us. It was the most delicious food that we had in our entire Japan trip. she cooks really well and I highly recommend. such an experience to share thoughts, life experiences and food related stuff. Even after we finished, I showed her some brazilian goodies to eat, where to buy, etc. and she searched for us where to eat vegan in our next city visited. so kind!
Wir haben am veganen Gyoza- und Ramen-Kochkurs bei Kaori teilgenommen und es war einfach großartig! Kaori ist super freundlich und hat alle Fragen geduldig beantwortet. Die familiäre Atmosphäre durch den Kurs bei ihr zuhause machte alles besonders angenehm. Wir konnten verschiedene Misopasten probieren,durften Gemüse schneiden, alles wurde sehr gut erklärt, und zum Schluss gab es sogar noch einen kleinen Nachtisch. Man geht nicht nur satt nach Hause, sondern hat auch ein schönes Erlebnis, an das man sich sehr gerne erinnert. Absolute Empfehlung!
such a great experience! we had a lovely time, learned to cook Vegan ramen and vegan gyoza - it was really delicious. Kaori was so patient and passionate. Kaori’s English is really good which made the whole experience really easy.

She started by taking us on a short tour at the supermarket, explaining all the ingredients we’d use in the class, and even gave us a small guide to help us communicate with locals in Japanese. Then we headed to her lovely home, where we learned so much and cooked together — and everything turned out so delicious! 😋 We received all the recipes afterward, and I can’t wait to make them for my family. Kaori also gave us a brochure with vegan restaurant recommendations, which was so thoughtful. Overall, it was a truly special, fun, tasty, and informative experience — highly recommended! 🌸🙏🏻
