Everyone is very friendly, the room is small but very clean. The breakfast is tasty with pumpkin porridges, eggs and many other dishes. You can walk to many scenic places of the West Lake. There are also good restaurants close by. Overall the service meets or exceeds the North American standards.

I had a wonderful week long stay, relaxing from a long trip, doing some research and exploring world famous West Lake. The park and pavilions are reminiscent of “Old China.” All less than a beautiful ten minute stroll away! The staff is extraordinary!!! Friendly, helpful, concerned about your stay.

Hotel was extremely homely and welcoming, just as the staff and owner were. We wanted to stay somewhere outside of town to get an experience closer to “locals”, and this hotel did not disappoint. Everything was clean, and I got a better night’s sleep here than our last stop in a big hotel. It’s so cosy, and the breakfast also deserves a mention; very healthy and tasty. Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable!

The staff is extremely helpful and hospitable. When we arrived, they welcomed us with a hot tea. It felt like we were not in a hotel. Everything was clean and the interior of the hotel was charming on its own. Without any doubts we can admit it was our best stay in China. We would recommend it if you are looking for a relaxing, homey, independent hotel.
