Oakwood Premier Raffles Place Singapore

As other reviewers noted, location, and coziness are excellent. We booked for 6 nights for 2 adults and 1 child (11 year old). Upon arrival, we are told that it is an extra SGD100+ per night if we want the sofa bed opened. We argued with them and they grudgingly opened the sofa bed for free. Since we arrived at 9pm, the regular housekeeping crew had gone home. There was only one housekeeper, who told us she would definitely help us but lectured us on how we didn't tell them in advance we needed the sofa bed, and how it is so heavy (which is true) so we need to help her. We are glad to help but not glad to be lectured throughout the process. We also felt that since we booked for 3 people and the third person is not an infant, it would have been obvious we needed the sofa bed. Once this was resolved, it took us a day to recover our good feeling, but we did really enjoyed the location, and interior design and quietness of this hotel!

The location of this hotel, a road or two behind the river front properties meant for excellent convenience. The rooms were very clean and matched expectations. The pool was nice, but disfuntionally organised witg the changing rooms being set back inside the hotel. The staff were super friendly and I would wholly consider stopping here again.

Brilliant, clean and modern hotel in a great location. Tidy, comfy and very quiet bedroom was great. Lovely pool, though no bar or restaurant poolside or within the hotel during the day (though there’s shops directly below the hotel). Would stay here again!

Was given the wrong room, then charged to upgrade to the correct room. Had to call multiple times to get the requested crib between rooms

It doesn't mention that rooms face office buildings and their employees. We had to have our curtains closed the entire time.

All of the staff we encountered were wonderful. Rooms were a little on the small side but, brilliantly functional. Location was quiet, which we liked, a very safe 10 minute walk to marina side restaurants and pubs. 10 minutes'ish cab to the Supertree gardens and lightshows. So good we're going back!

Great location and overall experience

Location is great, close to Raffles Place MRT and the restaurants and bars along the Singapore River. Our room was spacious, with a really nice bathroom and large shower.

Absolutely a great location in the financial district to everything. Easy to get to the hotel from Changi airport by the MRT, which only cost USD $2.22 per person, which will save you quite a bit of money than others means of transportation. Take the MRT from the airport to the Tanah Merah MRT station, which is only two stops away, transfer to the East-West line (green), exit Raffles Place MRT Station. Hotel is one block away. Close to many attractions such as Gardens by the Bay, Merlion, Marina Bay Hotel & Casino, Chinatown, Boat Quay & Clarke Quay districts, and the iconic, historic Lau Pa Sat Hawker Centre. If you like to walk like we do, this is the place to be as it is within walking distance to all of the above attractions, as long as the heat & humidity doesn't get to you first. The hotel staff was great, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the A/C works well to keep the room cool. The only negative is that the room was a bit small by our standard. We most definitely would stay here again. Bonus, there is a garden rooftop, 51st floor, with great views of the city for free that is not advertised. Access hours are limited and reservations are required through the building management, not by the hotel. Reservations can be made online.

Great location to tour the center of Singapore.
