This hotel is AMAZING! The accommodations were outstanding. The rooms are clean, the staff was exceptional and we are definitely planning on returning.

Perfect property for getting around Takayama. Very close to train station and bus station. Super clean and a very helpful staff. Onsen amenities were great and very reasonable private bath experience if you are too shy for the public bath.

This place was perfect in every way. Amazing staff and amenities, the breakfast was wonderful, and the location was perfect. I would live there if I could. My advice: splurge for the private bath (by splurge, I mean 2000 yen) - totally worth it. 6 out of 5 stars!!!

We had a very pleasant stay at hotel around TAKAYAMA, an Ascend Collection Hotel. The hotel staff was very helpful, and friendly. The location of the hotel is at walking distance to the trai. Station, bus station, the old town and restaurant. The onsen bath is included with our stay and accessible inside the hotel. We rented the electric bikes from the hotel and dicovered the old town. Oh yeah, the lounge on the 8th floor also provides complementary sake, plum wines and whiskey... this is by far the best experience at a Japanese hotel that we experience so far during our trip in Japan.

The hotel was in an excellent location everything felt close by walking distance. The room was spacious and very comfortable. I loved the layout and design of the room. Excellent place to stay in Takayama.

The restaurant was awful, I got a bad stomachache, the AC never working properly making sleep really hard, only few members of the staff at the front desk speak English, making comunication almost impossible.
