Dynasty Hotel and Suites New York LaGuardia Hotel

My room was clean. The air conditioning was working the way it should. When it came to the TV channel l was trying to watch it but that channel wasn’t working properly, no big deal. I could watch it on my phone. It was my first time at this hotel, but my second time in this area and l like that the train station is close. which it’s the 7 train. Lots of shops near. Personally l just needed a place where to leave my bags( stuffs) and to lay my head down at the end of the day. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The property was great. The staff was great. Definitely enjoyed my stay there. They definitely made me feel welcome and it was very homely. Gonna be staying here more and more every time I come home.

The hotel has everything you need but it’s nothing fancy. The staff are friendly and the room was clean. The beds were comfortable. It is in an awesome location if you like Chinese food and are going to citi field.

The train station near is very convenient, around there is a lot of restaurants options. The staff are good with everything you need and also they cleaned the room every day. The only inconvenience was that the elevator was broken the last few days but changed us to another room in 2 floor.

Dead bugs, spider webs, Missing shower door (water splash everywhere), Room entrance door lock is loose, screws are missing so the door handle shakes, Very old mattress, etc... Never going back to this hotel again.

I stayed at this hotel for one night and had a generally positive experience. One of the biggest advantages was the 24-hour check-in, which was incredibly convenient since my flight arrived late at night. The check-in process was quick, efficient, and hassle-free. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The bed appeared freshly made, the air conditioning worked well, and the bathroom was fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap, bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths. The location was another major plus. There were plenty of nearby restaurants, shops, and things to do, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area. My stay wasn't without issues, however. Shortly after I checked into my room on the 9th floor, one of the elevators broke down. This meant several trips up and down eight or nine flights of stairs, which was far from ideal. The electrical outlets next to the bed also did not work, forcing me to unplug the TV in order to charge my phone and watch. The bathroom also had an odd design flaw: the shower was missing a door, which resulted in water getting all over the bathroom floor during use. It wasn't a dealbreaker for a one-night stay, but it was definitely inconvenient and created an unnecessary mess. My other concern was room security. While the door did have an additional deadbolt, the secondary security measure was only a basic chain lock. There was also visible hallway light coming through around the lock area, which made me question how securel

We were informed at check in that the elevator was broken, with no timeframe on when it would be fixed. We had the option of a full refund or to keep the room and climb eight flights of stairs to it. However, we were staying due to a festival close by, so finding another hotel with a similar distance/ price point would have been impossible. Our toilet also had continuous issues with flushing/ clogging throughout the stay. We had to inform staff multiple times a day to resolve the issue, to the point that we weren’t even sure if staff were actually attempting to fix the issue. After returning from our day at the festival, we asked if the plumbing had been resolved, and we were told no, and were handed a plunger to do ourselves (with which we had little success.) Also, our room phone did not work, so to receive updates on the elevator/ plumbing, we would have had to travel the eight flights downstairs. Ultimately, the location and price were the only benefits of the room.

The worst cheap hotel experience I have ever had. Of course, given the price of the hotel, we were not expecting anything beautiful or luxurious. We are not picky about hotels, but even the bare minimum was not provided here. We arrived at night for check-in, and there were three security guards waiting for homeless individuals and people in vulnerable situations, as the hotel is apparently also used for that purpose. The guards were playing loud music at the reception area — it felt more like a bar than a hotel lobby. When we entered the room, part of the ceiling was damaged, one of the beds had no sheets or pillows, the bathtub was dirty, and the toilet flush was broken. We had to open the tank and flush it manually ourselves. The soundproofing is completely nonexistent — we could hear absolutely everything from the neighboring rooms. To make matters worse, on our second-to-last day, the elevator broke down and remained out of service until we checked out the following day. We had to climb eight floors of stairs, and I was already dealing with an injured foot. On the day of check-out, all five guests had to carry their luggage down eight floors of stairs without any assistance from the staff. Terrible experience overall. No refund or compensation of any kind was offered despite everything that happened. As a large and trusted platform that I have always used for travel, Expedia should take action regarding this property or stop offering it altogether.
