Air conditioning unable to cool room even with -3 deg C setting. Complained about the heat in the room & Hotel had to provide stand fan to keep the room cool enough to sleep. Not worth the high price paid for the room.

The hotel is very convenient because of its location. In addition to being in the city center, it is only a few blocks from the main train station, which is very helpful if you plan to visit other cities, such as Lucerne. The room had dark walls that made it feel somewhat dirty, and the carpet gave the same impression. However, the bed and bathroom appeared to be clean.

Clean, tidy and comfortable. However we stayed when it was over 30 degrees in Zurich and the hotel has no air con - it has a ‘cooling ventilation system’ which apparently cools the room by 3 degrees. It did not. The room was consistently at 25 degrees and was stiflingly hot and difficult to sleep. We were told to open the window if it was too hot! Shower is separated from the rest of the room by a curtain which was very odd Toilet was incredibly small and felt like being inside a bright yellow portaloo and we had to ask for more toilet roll as it wasn’t replenished by the cleaner Also no bin in the bathroom for sanitary product disposal; only one in the main room Breakfast was absolutely delicious and plenty of choice Location was good for easy access to Zurich HB train station

The onsite restaurant was convenient and informal with delicious choices. The location is an easy walk to the main train station, the national Swiss museum, many restaurants and shopping.
