The staff and location are great. It’s just an old hotel in an old building. The rooms remind me of my college dorm in 1995. It’s just old and dated. But, it’s clean and the staff are more than helpful

Terrible place to stay, the rooms were dirty, carpet OLD, Wallpaper peeling off the wall. Its just old and rundown!

We checked in early on Tuesday and got charged $100.00 for early check in. The room (411) didn't have a mini fridge and there wasn't one available. The air conditioner sounded like a helicopter. We walked around bare foot and discovered that the rug was dirty. Upon checking out this morning (Friday, July 17, 2026) and inquiring about taxi service we were told that they only called taxis to take people to the airport, which we didn't need. If we have to go there again we hope everything will be better.

This is a great option if you need a budget hotel when visiting Manhattan. The building itself is quite old but if you’re just looking for somewhere to sleep this is a fine choice. Additionally, the hotel is right outside the train station for the 1, 2, and 3 trains, so all you need to do is walk outside the hotel so you can get to the heart of the city for tourist stuff.

Located on the West side near great food spots and a wonderful neighborhood. The place had dirty carpets, wall sockets were loose and falling out.

We stayed as a party of 4 with 2 children. The room was a decent size and older, but it was very clean and had good air conditioning for the summer. It was a perfect location to the 1,2,3 subway and got us into Timesquare quickly. It was quiet at night and we felt safe walking to and around the hotel. The staff was friendly, I would stay here again
