Well located by the Songshan Station on the Green line. Everything you might need (pharmacy, 7-11, family mart, Songshan market, Roahe street stores & night market are all within steps. Good quiet neighbourhood. Spent 9 days combined business/leisure travel. Rooms are comfortable and cleaning staff is efficient. Laundry is self-serve and reasonable priced per load. Breakfast may not be included if you bundle with Expedia but is reasonably priced by North American standards. - Restaurant is privately owned called VGest mostly vegetarian and organic Taiwanese cooking and a pleasant surprise as the owner is promoting clean healthy eating. Pizza is good.Easy access to MRT and Taoyuan airport

Stayed in a city hotel that was surprisingly quiet. The room was small but clean and comfortable for a single traveler. Staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. Good choice for a short stay.

Capital Hotel Songshan was so easy and convenient for our few days in Taipei. The room was spacious and clean, the staff was friendly, and the location was excellent. Steps from the Songshan MRT and right across the street from Raohe Night Market, we felt we had everything we needed!
