The first impressions of the area are not great, but the hotel building itself is modern. The beachfront at the hotel does not look great when the tide is out (with exposed seaweed), but beautiful when it comes in. The staff were all very nice. The main issues we had were related to maintenance. The handle on the shower fell off (so difficult to control the shower) and it was impossible to turn off one of the lights in the bedroom. We called housekeeping and maintenance, but no one was able to turn it off meaning we had to sleep with the light on!! Also, the pier in front of the hotel is in very bad condition. On the positive side, the restaurant is great. I had delicious spaghetti meatballs for dinner and the corned beef for breakfast was great.

The staff are really nice and helpful, especially the night receptionist. Room is awkward layout and needed repairs. Hardly a beach and covered in algae. Decent place to stay, but not much restaurant selection.

Employés dévoués et courtois. Avons eu un problème avec notre chambre et le propriétaire a trouvé une solution rapidement. Piscine agréable.

Huge clean room with comfy bed. Friendly helpful staff. The breakfast buffet was awesome and varied every day. We had reservations both the New Year’s Eve dinner and countdown. Great food, entertainment and an impressive fireworks display right in front of us. We will be staying here again.

Courteous staff, pleasant stay, excellent amenities. Location down a long path so if wishing to leave premises and eat out, Reception will book transport out and then it is easy to hail tricycle on the way back.
