JR East Hotel Mets Premier Gotanda

Super conveniently located at Gotanda Station with plenty of dining options around, and a Donki just across the road. There was a wide variety of amenities available. Staff were friendly and very helpful - special shoutout to the hardworking and kind trainee staff who went out of his way to guide my mum and I to the nearby taxi stand downstairs as we were leaving, he helped us roll one of our big suitcases and flagged a cab down for us. I would definitely want to stay here again if I can :)

Great location and hotel (right above the train station). Friendly staff and so many choices of amenities. Hotel staff arranged luggage forwarding for me as well which made it even more convenient. Would stay there again!

Great location for our 5 day trip to Tokyo. With both the Yamanote & Asakasa lines a few steps away. The hotel was clean & the staff helpful.

This was by far the best business hotel I have stayed in! Airport transfer was effortless as the hotel is conveniently located within the Gotanda station, and I literally just hopped out of the hotel lift and the train gate is only a few steps away! The hotels itself is pristine and spacious compared to a standard Japanese Biz hotel with bathroom and toilet placed separately, and plenty of space to stretch out. Complimentary breakfast was great with choices too and I have definitely utilised the free coffee machine at the lobby on nights I had to work till late..... Staff were incredibly helpful and thorough too and I felt very well taken care of. Another plus point for me is that the hotel lift also directly connects to a Uniqlo store so shopping was sorted too!

Excellent location right next to the JR station, yet the room was surprisingly quiet. Plenty of shops are nearby, including Muji, Uniqlo, pharmacies, convenience stores, and supermarkets. The room was a decent size for Tokyo and perfect for couples. Housekeeping was excellent, and the hotel provided thoughtful amenities, including toothbrushes, skincare products, cotton pads, slippers, a Dyson hairdryer, and complimentary bottled water. The only downside is that the sink area is separated from the room by only a thin curtain, so privacy may be limited for friends travelling together. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay.

Excellent location, very clean, lots of places to eat and shop nearby. Superb breakfast with lots of free personal hygiene products for your use. The room felt small at first but we got used to it. I would have preferred to have a small dresser to put my clothes in. Family Mart, Lawsons and Seven Eleven stores nearby including a Supermarket.

The service was exceptional, but the breakfast was a big soggy.
