Delta Hotels by Marriott Liverpool City Centre

When we were leaving and had already paid for parking on our hotel bill, we asked for car park ticket to be validated we were told that they didn’t do that anymore and just press the buzzer and tell them we’d stayed at the Delta Marriott. We had to leave early( 8.30 am) as we’d been called home We did this and was told we needed a validated car park ticket. I went back to reception, after not being able to leave the car park. The receptionist then told me that they had run out of vouchers and that what was agreed with Q Park, and it wasn’t her fault. I must admit I was angry but needed to get out of the car park asap. She rang Q Park and asked them to let us out, didn’t ask for car registration number. Went back to the car park but couldn’t get back in as the metal roller doors had come down. Had to walk all the way back to the pedestrian entrance and find my way back to were my husband was parked waiting for me. Again rang Q Park and was told that we needed a validated voucher as we’d could have been staying at any hotel in the area. Luckily for us a car park worker asked if we’re ok and let us out. NOT IMPRESSED

Excellent!

Room was comfortable and clean. Staff friendly. Breakfast choice was good. Bar staff were great! Would definitely stay again.

Comfort of the beds were no good. Location of the hotel was good but not maintained very well. It is neither a budget hotel nor premium hotel. It is in between. So that, I ask myself the value for money.

This was a very nice hotel, however, I was extremely disappointed in the restaurant here. We went down and were ignored by the staff so we went down the street for dinner. The restaurant is my only complaint though, outside of that it was a really good place to stay.

Spotlessly clean room with fabulous views towards the Liver building. Great central location with the Mersey, shopping and pubs all within walking distance
