Hotel Castilla Torrijos

Pleasant roadside truck stop, but of a shleo from central town, itherwise fine

It was a very basic an dated hotel. We stayed one night as a family. It was clean sheets but the bathroom had a vey bad smell coming from drains, which we discovered is the general situation with old buildings in Spain in general.

We enjoyed the tapas bar and friendly service

We have used Hotel Castilla for many years as a convenient stop on our travels through Spain. The staff are excellent, the food is very good and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend to other travelers and those wishing to visit Torrijos, Toledo and the surrounding areas.

The hotel was fine. We were able to park immediately outside it, in a covered area allocated to the hotel. The receptionist (Lucia) was lovely! She was able to give us extra pillows, and turn on the AC from her recption area. The room was very good with a big comfortable bed and a clean bathroom with a large shower. We ate the three course menú del día in the evening, which was fine. Our waiter (Ángel) was excellent. Breakfast was fine,, the place was packed with non-residents! Perhaps it's because we couldn't see any other cafes or restaurants nearby. Our room was close to the stairs and lift, so it was quite noisy.

EASY ACCESS, FREE PARKING

Everything was fine except the swimming pool timetable. On weekdays it’s open from 5pm to 9pm which is simply not good enough.

We have used the excellent facilities of Hotel Castilla for many years. The welcome and service is second to none. The rooms are perfectly clean and recently refurbished. The food is good Spanish cuisine at a great price. Highly recommended for a comfortable stay.
