Seville

Our day in Seville was almost perfect. The Cathedral and the Royal Alcázar were indescribably beautiful, and the architecture of the old town was magnificent. Its planning and layout were textbook perfect. Although the tickets for the Cathedral and the Royal Alcázar weren't cheap, they were definitely worth it! The Royal Alcázar had a very Indian feel to it, completely different from the mainstream European palace architectural style.

Stepping inside the church, one is instantly transported from the scorching Andalusian sun into a tranquil and solemn sanctuary. Looking up, the towering Gothic arches stretch and intertwine like colossal trees carved from stone. Sunlight streams through the stained-glass windows, casting colorful halos onto the mottled stone floor. At the deepest part of the nave is the breathtaking main altarpiece (Retablo Mayor). Countless gilded statues intricately depict biblical stories, shimmering in the faint candlelight, exuding a quiet yet powerful force. However, the most striking feature within the church is undoubtedly the Tomb of Columbus. Statues of the four Spanish kings—Castile, Leon, Aragon, and Navarre—bear the navigator's coffin aloft. Standing before the tomb, the stark contrast between the tumultuous age of maritime power and this serene hall evokes a profound sense of the ebb and flow of time and history.

This is a great show, only ensure that you reach 60 mins before to get good seats and the ability to see the performers legs properly. Highly recommended to anyone looking to learn about the dance’s history and enjoy the performance as well.

මම ක්ලූක් පාස් එක හරහා ඇල්කසාර් සහ ෆ්ලැමෙන්කෝ ලබා ගත්තා. ක්‍රියාකාරකම් දෙක තනි තනිව වෙන්කරවා ගැනීම වෙනුවට මම මුදල් ඉතිරි කරගත් නිසා එය හොඳයි. ඇල්කසාර් විශාලයි, ගිම්හාන සමයේදී එය ඉතා උණුසුම් වන බැවින් ඔබේ විදේශ ගමන් බලපත්‍රය/හැඳුනුම්පත සහ ජලය රැගෙන යාමට වග බලා ගන්න. සෙවිල් හි අපගේ අවසාන දිනයේදී අපි ෆ්ලැමෙන්කෝ සංදර්ශනය ද රස වින්දෙමු.

මෙම ප්‍රසංගය පැයක් පමණ පැවති අතර ෆ්ලැමෙන්කෝ නර්තනයේ අලංකාර පියවර මනාව ප්‍රදර්ශනය කළේය. එකම ගැටලුව වන්නේ KLook හරහා වෙන්කරවා ගත් ටිකට්පත් සඳහා, අපට රංග ශාලාවේ අවසාන පේළි කිහිපය වෙන්කර ඇති බැවින් ඔබට සමීපව බැලීමට නොහැකි වීමයි. නමුත් අයවැය තේරීම් සඳහා KLook හරහා වෙන්කරවා ගැනීම හොඳ විකල්පයකි!

Indeed an experience worth remembering. We enjoyed this experience as its not just a tour but the guide (Pia) was very informative and abke to share her knowledge about the places we have been. She’s also very friendly and welcoming together with the entire crew. This tour is worth the price ✨💞

Visiting the Royal Alcázar of Seville is an unforgettable excursion filled with history and beauty. As you enter, you are surrounded by intricate Moorish architecture, delicate arches, and colorful tilework that reflect centuries of culture. The peaceful courtyards, like the famous Patio de las Doncellas, offer a calm escape from the city’s noise. Walking through the royal chambers, you can imagine the lives of kings and queens who once lived there. The lush gardens, filled with fountains, orange trees, and peacocks, make the experience even more magical. It is a perfect place to explore, learn, and admire timeless art and design.

I really couldn’t speak highly enough of this tour. Our guide Lorena was friendly and knowledgeable. Paco was a very safe driver. The whole tour was well thought out and timed. Really worth it and a must in my opinion if you are visiting Seville.

Seville is a very lovely city. Full of history and culture. We can see the trio of Arabic-Jewish-Christian culture rolled in one. Our guide Sama-el was very knowledgeable of sites. I love the Alcazar so much. Worth joining the group. It’s s just the very hot weather (reaching 43C) that makes the walking tour a little bit hard. Otherwise I gave a 2-thumbs up for this tour, esp to Sama-el our guide. Highly recommended.
