Extremely convenient (just above the train station), gorgeous rooms - clean, spacious, nice layout, nice view! A very cool lounge, gym and plenty restaurants and shopping options in walking range! Definitely recommend! Would stay here again in a heartbeat

The hotel is modern looks but when stepping inside the room it was totally different. Its carpet is dirty , old and dusty. Even though it locates next to the station it easily confuses with the other hotel also named Metropolitan East JR sendai

We were so grateful that the hotel is situated right at the Sendai JR station with direct access. It was a rainy day and our original plan was unfortunately scraped. We were still able to enjoy many great food and shopping right there without getting soaked in the rain. Hotel was clean and well-equipped, particularly appreciated the free soft drinks at the lounge!

The Sendai Metropolitan East is an excellent hotel I've stayed at numerous times and plan on staying there again. It is extremely convenient -- right at the main Sendai Japan Rail station -- but the hotel rooms are quiet (and very clean). There is also an excellent shopping area at the station as well as many excellent restaurants for all price ranges. The breakfast is reasonably priced and generally quite good but could use a wider selection of breads. All told, I give this hotel the highest recommendation.

a little too tight for two ppl, but it’s new and clean, plus so convenient in terms of the access to the station. i have stayed here more than half a dozen times for that reason. price-wise everyone feels different, so i won’t comment on that…
