The room was a good size, but it was constantly damp—the air conditioning felt humid—and the bathroom was like a box.

near the nishiki market but not near the crowds the laundry in the room was surprisingly convenient would stay in every tokyu stay in all parts of the world if available

Love the location. Love the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The complimentary drink bar by the lobby (coffee, water, soda, sake) is excellent. For family with small children, the craft table (origami, coloring books, stamps) is very useful to keep them entertained. We stayed in the room with washing machine so we were able to travel light. I knock off 1 star because the hallway smelled like stale grease from restaurant. Luckily the smell didn’t get into the hotel room.
