I love this hotel. It was located in a great spot in the middle of shopping heaven. It was all decorated and well kept. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Strong WiFi.

Location is excellent. Can access to metro, JR within walking distance. It is very convient to shopping, catering there. Room is very clean and have reasonable street view. The space is a little bit tight for three persons.

Hotel is in a great location for tourism in Kyoto; very short walk across the river to the old Geisha district, and right on a major shopping/restaraunt thoroughfare. Also within walking distance of the subway line that serves the Mt. Inari area. The room was sizeable by Japanese hotel standards, and included a very spacious shower and full bath. Everything was very clean and the air conditioning worked well. The room was also quiet and well-insulated.

We all absolutely love the location. Staff was not very friendly but everything else was very good. All amenities besides the actual room are an extra charge!

I am surprised that people rave about the breakfast.... DON'T GET THE BREAKFAST, we stayed in 5 hotels on our trip and this was by far the worst we had. The breakfast room was like a school canteen, it wasn't at all conducive to a relaxing breakfast, it took a long time for items to be refilled, and the experience was unpleasant. However, the room we had was excellent, the evening free bar and snack food (extra cost or upgraded room) was a really nice way to finish the evening or relaxing after a long day out. The hotel is really well located for getting around Kyoto and is in the. middle of a market but is very quiet and really convenient. Apart from the breakfast we enjoyed the hotel and the staff we came into contact with were really helpful.
