I booked this hotel because of the air conditioning which was mediocre at best. The room pleasantly surprised me, however, in terms of being canal facing and having two king size beds. The biggest drawback was the significant smell of cigarette smoke in the room. The windows in our room fully opened which helped with the smell. Overall I think it was still a good value for the price.

We loved the location of the hotel. It was close enough to all the main attractions but far enough to not be busy in its location.
Calm and happy atmosphere.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Ate in the hotel twice as my husband can’t walk far and had lovely pizza and salad meals. Prices were reasonable.
Amazing breakfast. We were not expecting the range of food that was on offer- hot and cold.
Rooms were beautiful and were cleaned every day. Bottles of water and coffee, tea and sugar replenished everyday.
If I could change anything - leave instructions regards how to use the coffee machine. Open the restaurant fully at night and have seating outside.

Very central location making everything writhing central Amsterdam very walkable. Very friendly staff. Beautiful facilities.

Recommend if you prefer to stay close to attractions but still in a less touristy area.

Great check-in and very helpful staff. Breakfast was very good and fresh croissants. Wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was very clean and comfortable.
