Excellent location and wonderful,welcoming staff. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet area, but still conveniently located to Kyoto station and dining options. Beautiful, clean property, with a lovely staff. Highly recommend!

This hotel was great. They were very kind & spoke good English, which was helpful for us. The property was a great location just a few minutes walk from Kyoto station& was extremely clean. We had a great experience with them - they got us a room last minute when our originally booked hotel refused to let us stay there because of the age of our children (11 and 13, the first wanted our kids to be in a separate room) so this hotel helped us out and we were so grateful.

Proximity to shopping and Kyoto train station made this property extremely convenient for visiting. The room was spacious and clean. I will highly recommend to friends who want to to stay in Kyoto. Nishiki market and Gion were reachable by bus or taxi pretty easily.

Nice hotel and very close to the station and car rental places. For us it was a perfect stop over and transition from Shinkansen to rental car.
