A fantastic location right across from the train station. Staff was lovely upon our arrival. Checked us into rooms right away. Rooms were great and very comfortable with lots of amenities - slippers, housecoats, prosecco! Breakfast was fantastic. A beautiful hotel and incredibly lovely staff! Would stay again for sure.

Great room and location for our family of three. The staff was helpful and communicative. The breakfast was excellent. We also had air conditioning - a plus in July!

The hotel is excellent in all aspects. Super clean super comfortable and easy to get to the town using the public transport, “trams are just across the street. Very convenient shops next to the hotel . Perfect place to stay when visiting Basel .

Very clean! Excellent staff support! The included breakfast was superb! Excellent location across the street from the train station and a short walk to their excellent zoo. I rarely write reviews of where we stay but the GAIA deserves proper recognition!

Lovely staff.. upgrafed me took a double room.. which was very spacious... but they didn't tell me about the special block out blinds... so my room was like day light in the night... breakfast room was very elegant with a wonderful selection of food... close to train and trams.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The beverages and snacks in the room were complimentary. We were offered bottled water and snacks upon checkout which was a nice surprise. Buffet breakfast had a variety of food/drinks to choose, Location is excellent, right across the Basel SBB train station.

The front desk staff were excellent. They were very friendly and helpful. The room was small, but clean. The breakfast was very good and served in a very nice atmosphere. The train station was across the road and a small grocery store was next to the hotel.
