Hotel Bulgaria Burgas

Just an ideal experience. Everything - starting from the super cozy room with cloud-like beds and a modern bathroom and bidet, to a relaxing great variety breakfast and a fantastic spa and gym facilities. Staff were great and helpful. You have the main street when you walk out the hotel with all the shops available, a beach within 15 minutes of walk close by called ‘Bulgarian dunes’ (really fantastic and free access) as well as a bus station like 8 minutes walk from where you can get to any city including Turkey and Europe for like 5 euros. Will definitely come back for best service in Bulgaria as well as best views Burgas city, THANK YOU🙏😍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel itself is great. Large rooms, very clean. Food and wine in restaurant was faultless, and the server lovely. Very reasonably priced (and there’s a 20% discount for guests). Reception staff not great, especially at check in when staff member was insisting on a PIN number for a card that doesn’t have one. She would not accept that it could be inserted and verified with a signature (which the manager confirmed upon checkout). Very unsmiling, unfriendly reception staff. Maybe it was a language problem because I live in Bulgaria and love the people. Or maybe they are trained to be overly formal. Great location though. Bad news: bar shuts at 10/10.30! Also bad: cleaner came into my room both mornings when I was in bed, despite my Do Not Disturb light being on. Scary!

Loved our stay. The spa and swimming pool were really nice too. Would highly recommend!

All seems up-to-date. Excellent walk-in shower.

Stayed here many times over the years with no problems but my recent stay was disappointing woke up at 1am to find my room was full of black flies everywhere on the walls ceiling and in the bed I was horrified ran down to reception to find the lady on the desk very rude and unfriendly saying it was my own fault for opening the window and offered to give me a vacuum cleaner to clean them away I wasn’t impressed and insisted on moving room which was instantly declined saying there was no rooms available still saying it’s my own fault sorry but where was the notice to say do not open windows there wasn’t any nor any fly screens on the windows for a 4 star hotel this was disgusting I argued my point and said I would lodge a complaint with management so the lady then offered me a new room which I moved myself to also the spa pool is like a public swimming baths with kids jumping in the pool and jacuzzi it’s open to the public for swimming lessons not just hotel guests so don’t go here for relaxation as advertised as there isn’t any .

Great location and amenities

The hotel is alright, however their key-cards constantly de-magnitise. The receptionist tried to make it my problem. Aparently it is my fault that I have phone in one pocket and airpods in another pocket. Their super-duper fragile keys can’t be next to radio emmiters. They should go back to metallic keys, if they are unable to buy cards that don’t lose their charge when next to bluetooth earphones.
