Hotel Inn Rossio

We needed a room for three people for a brief, one-night stay in Lisbon. This place was just what we needed! The three-person room had a queen bed and a little alcove with a single bed. There was plenty of room for everyone and their luggage. Most importantly there was a Mitsubishi air conditioning unit that actually cooled the room! (We were there during the crazy heat wave) There was a small lounge area and a luggage storage room that helped us rest/mobilize before we could check into our room in the afternoon. The location was great- close to everything. It wasn’t fancy but it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great- lots of options!

This hotel is fine. It is not a business hotel, or one with a fancy lobby. But if what you need is a clean room close to all the tourist areas, this is a good choice. It is very conveniently located, close to restaurants etc. and only a short walk to the main square. The room had everything I needed, though it was a bit of an odd layout, and the ceiling was very low and angular. So there was one bed (out of 3) that I’m not sure how I would have gotten into without climbing over an oddly angled support beam that ran floor to ceiling. And none of the beds would allow you to walk to the bathroom without having to duck. I still have two lumps on my forehead from trying to make it to the toilet in the night, and banging my head on the ceiling. Also, the elevator is out of order, which is ok for me, though a bit of a drag as I was in the top floor. But for people with mobility issues this could be an issue.

Excellent location and clean property

We initially booked at Hotel Inn Rossio and when we arrived, we were told they didn’t have a room for us and they booked us a taxi to another hotel. The front desk was very kind, and they ordered us a taxi for free and also gave us complimentary breakfast which was appreciated. It was a bummer since I selected the hotel for the location and we were moved about 5 minutes away by car into next to construction. The next hotel front desk clerks were also very kind and helpful. However, we accidentally bumped a glass when dropping our bags off (totally our fault, we apologized numerous times) and the lady in the dining room gave my dad numerous dirty looks and said something rude. Even later on, she continued to give him rude looks and narrowed her eyes at him which felt unnecessary and made us feel unwelcome. The rooms were nice and clean, the door frame fell off when we got inside and the bathroom had a weird smell but overall was fine.

Amazing location to get around. One thing to know is that when you take the room key to go out for the day the refrigerator turns off, which isn’t great for anything you are trying to keep cold.

Unfortunately a person in a nearby room either was on a computer or had the tv on extremely loud and we had to complain at 2:45am to reception, who sorted it out quickly thankfully. The lift was not working so staff carried our luggage up to our room. Excellent staff service. Room ok & clean

Hotel is average but that’s reflected in the price. The breakfast is awful, don’t bother. However, the location is absolutely fab,very central and there’s a lovely mini market next door where you can get a few bits for the fridge available in the room.

Great location, great room. We asked for 4 people and it was all clean and nice, we had a great time.

Excellent location! Although an older hotel it was completely modernized and we appreciated how the space in our room was maximized. Very good communication with the hotel right from the start. Such. A beautiful part of Lisbon right at your doorstep. We would definitely stay here again.
