HANARE by Tokyu Stay Kyoto Sanjo

I loved it! The location is good and the rooms are spacious.

Excellent large room for our family of four which included a washing machine. Very friendly staff.

The complementary wine and sake in the lobby is the best thing ever!

The hotel itself is beautiful. We loved the proximity to the metro station and the short walk to food and shopping. The breakfast buffet was amazing. The quality of the food was superb and the staff at the restaurant were always kind. We will definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfect - spacious room size, laundry machine in room, breakfast buffet options (enjoyed the grilled mackerel), helpful staff, clean pajamas, kitchen supplies (including matcha whisk and bowl), snacks and drinks (sake included) in lobby.

We loved this place. So beautiful, clean and spacious. Our apartment was a great size for our family of four. The hotel is small so not too many people and breakfast had some nice selections of food. It is about a 3 min walk to a train station and only 10 mins to Nishiki Market. There is a 7/11 and Family mart within 3 mins from the hotel for anything you need. Recommend this. If we come back to Kyoto we will definitely stay hear again.

Our room was large for our family of 5. We highly recommend due to the location of the hotel and property is really nice.

We truly enjoyed our stay at HANARE by Tokyu Stay Kyoto Sanjo Kyoto. Kyoto is a magical city and this hotel was a favorite on our trip to Japan. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The bathrooms were the best of all the hotels we stayed and having a washer/dryer in room was a wonderful amenity. There was also a bar area with several coffee/tea options and a lot of space for luggage and other items. The beds were very comfortable and large. We also enjoyed the free sake, soft drinks, hot and cold coffee and tea options as well as the snacks provided. The hotel is conveniently located near 7-11 and the trains as well as in walking distance to much of Kyoto shopping and restaurants. Overall - this was a great stay and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Kyoto!

A lovely hotel with spacious rooms, which perfectly accommodated our family of 5. I really appreciate the kitchenette and the washer/dryer too. The breakfast was a bit disappointing in terms of allergens. Food is not labelled and nearly everything had dairy, egg or wheat. The hotel itself does not take responsibility for breakfast unfortunately. I wish they could have told me in advance.

We are fans of Tokyu Stay. This one in Kyoto is near all activities but a tucked in a quiet neighborhood. Nijo Castle is 10 min walk, Nishiki market is 15min, another 5 min takes you to the river. Very easily anccess to Karasuma line which takes you to Kyoto station. Our room was spacious for a family of 4, including 2 teenagers. Everyone was happy hanging in the room. The kitchenette and W/D in room is a great plus!!
