Très bel accueil des gens sur place, toujours prêts à répondre à nos questions. L'appartement était spacieux et confortable. Très bien situé, tout près du Château Nijo et à environ 15 minutes de marche du marché Nishiki

This was our favorite hotel during our trip to Japan. The staff is incredibly nice and super helpful. They offered the luggage transport service which was amazing! The room was super spacious and the laundry came in handy. There was also free wine and beer on tap in the lobby! Also juice, water, coffee and tea. A wonderful experience!

Service was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is great. Breakfast is also great. Great location in old town. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Great property. Our room was spacious with all of the amenities and supplies available at no extra charge. The front desk concierge staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. We had a great experience and would definitely stay there again if we ever go back to Kyoto. Highly recommend!

We were pleasantly surprised with the room! The front desk gals were so nice and spoke English well. We had everything we needed and more. The room was quiet and beds were comfy. We slept like babies! The in-room laundry was a big bonus ( never seen that before)! We enjoyed the complementary beverages downstairs. The location was in the middle of where we wanted to be! It was a 2 min walks to breakfast and marts. Mumari has their own luggage transfers to Ōsaka, Kyoto and Tokyo for a fee. Our bags arrived at our next hotel in Ōsaka the same day and before check-in! Wow!!!

We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath tatami room. There was plenty of space to spread out. The space was darker, the few windows did not let in much light. But, overall clean & comfortable. The location was great, not too busy, but close enough to tourist attractions. My husband appreciated the complimentary beer in the lobby.

10/10. Amazing stay in a convenient location, 4 minute walk from Karasuma Oike station. Staff were very attentive and able to assist with local restaurant recommendations, child-item needs, and luggage forwarding. Room was very clean, spacious, and had all the required amenities - perfect for our family's stay. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Kyoto.
