Once you enter there’s a reception which everyone was super friendly and helpful! There’s an area to leave your luggage in case you come earlier than your check in time.
There’s a common area and a kitchen in which you can use if needed. Everything was clean and organized!
Our room was great, bed sheets were clean we had space to open our bags and a place to hang towels. There’s also an AC.
The bathrooms are shared and the toilets too, we had no problems at all with them, they were all very clean and well maintained.
They provide body soap and shampoo and conditioner.
Great experience to meet backpackers and new people in general.
It’s also located near the Kanazawa Castle and the Main Street. There’s a family mart and a Lawson nearby. I would definitely come back!! 10/10

The hostel itself was awesome, but some of the rudest guest you’ll ever meet. Most hostels I’ve stayed at in Japan controlled the temperature and the lighting. However K’s house does not. The guest in my dorm made so much noise, it was heard three rooms down. Guest in my room kept the light on for most of the late night and turned on a space heater that made it so miserable to sleep there. I’ve tried correcting it but the guest would resume. I wished this hostel would enforce the rules better.

The staff were very welcoming and kind. The room and the facility were very clean and organized. However, we had to pay for towels to use them and the shower water was still cold when I tried, which was at 6 am.

Excellent hostel. Great rooftop terrace with 360 degree views. Awesome kitchen and dining area. Bunks were spacious and comfortable.
