The laundry room was easy to use and super convenient for longer trips. I was able to do 2 loads without having to wait. The room was spacious and I could open up two large luggages and still have space. The location felt a little more remote but is accessible to most attractions either by foot or by tram.

Lazy staff. Came in at 12 pm, intended to drop luggage at front desk before finding lunch. However, no one was around. After 30 minutes and multiple phone calls, two slow moving, clearly annoyed staff finally showed up to take our luggage.
No room service whatsoever. Guests need to pick up own clean towels daily. That is actually okay for us. However, no place to dump trash is really annoying.
Hotel sits in a boring area, need to walk about 10 minutes to find a semi decent breakfast with coffee.
Basically, not recommended

The staff are very friendly. The hotel is close to the tram line and convenient to the main stain. The bed is hard as a rock. They need blackout curtains. They have laundry facilities which is nice.

Staff is very friendly and there is a great pantry area to make coffee & drink. My family enjoyed a lot.

I had a great experience staying at Gran Palette Hakodate. I arrived on a day when a fierce storm was raging. Although the walk from the tram stop to the hotel wasn’t far in distance, it felt incredibly long due to the heavy snow, which left me a bit exhausted.
Once I got inside the hotel, however, I was greeted by staff who were full of energy and dedication. They welcomed me warmly, and even though there was a slight language barrier, it wasn’t a problem at all. The check-in process was extremely smooth and convenient.
The room was spotless, spacious, and boasted a stunning view from the window. The rooftop smoking area also offered a great view—not only is it perfect for smoking, but it’s also an ideal spot for taking beautiful photos.
I’d definitely love to come back and stay here again if I ever return to Hakodate.

Difficult in snow with luggage from/to train station.
Many passengers places don’t take CC’s and ATMs did not take our ATM cards.
Overall was a good stay with visit to gondola.

The staffs are very friendly, the room is very clean. Hotel location is convenient to walk around Hakodate. They also offer parking service for ¥500 per night just across from the hotel. Overall very nice stay!
