My family enjoyed the performances esp the Koto duet and Maiko dance. Many foreigners were filming though asked not to. Overall, a wonderful experience for all.

Joined the 1-Day Kyoto Tour with Sunrise Tours and it was an absolute highlight of our Japan trip. Our tour guide was incredibly informative, courteous, and thoughtful — sharing fascinating insights while ensuring everyone felt comfortable and included. Perfectly organized with seamless transportation and a wonderful balance of must-see temples and hidden gems. Highly recommended!

It is an awesome tour, felt like hanging out with a local friend! My friend and I booked the Kyoto Gion Cultural Walk for the 10:30 AM slot, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! Since this is a new start-up, it’s the perfect choice if you want to support a small business and avoid the massive, overcrowded tour groups. No one else booked our time slot, so we actually ended up getting a "private" tour just for the two of us! Our guide, Momo, was top. We learned so much about Kyoto's history and Geisha culture. Since it was our first time in Japan, we asked a million random questions on the street, and Momo happily answered them all while keeping us safe in the busy crowds. Fun fact: Momo is a former chef, so we got some excellent food recommendations too! The pace was super relaxed. Momo even let us take a quick detour to a Totoro shop just because my friend was so excited. If you want a great, relaxing experience, highly recommend booking this!

This walking tour was a great tour with more steps added to your walking haha. Marie our tour guide was so knowledgeable about every attraction with their history and helpful in showing us what’s around the area of Kyoto, Gion etc. She also takes great photos and gives any food recommendations wherever we are. At the end we were given some gifts from Marie which was a nice suprise. Would book with her again next time.

Milo was my tour guide and he was fantastic! Very knowledgeable on everything Kyoto and i thoroughly enjoyed listening to him. I also loved how he met me at my hotel. He took me to some lovely souvenir shops and around the Keisha district and out of the hustle and bustle. Overall great experience!

කෙයිකෝ ඉතා දැනුමැති අයෙක්. ඇය ගියොන් අවට සංස්කෘතිය ඉගෙන ගැනීමට කාලය ගත කර ඇති අතර ගෙයිකෝ සහ මයිකෝ සංස්කෘතිය පිළිබඳ අවබෝධයක් බෙදා ගැනීමට සමත් විය. සංචාරයේ බොහෝ රසවත් ස්ථාන සහ කථා තිබුණි. කෙයිකෝ සමඟ ගත කළ අපූරු පැය 2ක් විය. අපට ගෙයිකෝ කෙනෙකු පවා දැකගත හැකි විය! එය අමතර වාසියක් විය.

හසන් පුදුමාකාර සංචාරක මාර්ගෝපදේශකයෙක් විය. ඔහු දැනුමැති, කරුණාවන්ත සහ විශිෂ්ට ශක්තියකින් යුක්ත විය. ඔහු අපව අපගේ සියලුම අපේක්ෂිත ගමනාන්ත වෙත රැගෙන ගියේය. මගේ මවට පඩිපෙළ නැගීමට සහ බැසීමට උපකාර කිරීමේදී ඔහු ඇදහිය නොහැකි තරම් උපකාරී වූ අතර, සෑම ස්ථානයකම ඉතිහාසය පැහැදිලි කිරීමට ඔහු කාලය ගත්තේය. ඔහු සැබවින්ම අපගේ ජපාන සංචාරය අමතක නොවන එකක් බවට පත් කළේය. ඔබගේ සියලු වෙහෙස මහන්සි වී වැඩ කිරීම වෙනුවෙන් හසන් ඔබට ස්තූතියි.

Our guide Ms Shion was amazing! She is very enthusiastic and engaging. The walk covers quite a lot at a good pace but we didn’t spot any maikos or geishas which was my main objective. I wonder if the route could be reversed so there’s a higher chance of spotting the talented artistes at the the Queen of Geisha district?

Had a great time - very entertaining! Wrestlers were fun to watch, and had a good crash course of how sumo works and some of the history. Got to see a few matches between the wrestlers, and then a few bouts with the audience.
