Ako was a wonderful guide. I'd recommend this tour for not only fans of matcha, but those interested in learning more of the history in Uji City.

This experience was a highlight of our Japan trip. From start to finish, we truly enjoyed the whole day. Our guide, Ako was awesome! We learned so much about shrines, temples, and of course matcha tea! This is an experience worth booking to get the most out of a day in Uji.

Our tour guide Jahmela is very knowledgeable about the Japanese culture and the Uji, Kyoto area. it was a bonus that she’s an American so there was no language barrier. We learned a lot about Uji matcha, it was also fun learning to do the tea ceremony. The food, sweets and ice cream were all so amazing too. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Jahmela and the rest of the tour team mates.

Jahmelah was wonderful! she gave us lots of interesting cultural information, which was easily understood from our perspective. she she was so fun and was so gracious about our time going over. Her knowledge enriched our time here in Kyoto!

One of the best tours we did in Japan. our guide was polite, friendly, knowledgeable and used to be an English teacher which made the experience even better. Uji is a wonderful place to visit. Highly recommended.
