This half day tour is a great experience if you love to learn a lot about Vietnam’s handicraft industry. Ms. Iris our guide was knowledgeable and has explained all details well. We had a great time taking photos at the Incense Village and took our time painting our conical hats! Don’t miss this activity when going to Hanoi cos this is surely worth it!

This tour was one of the highlights of my Hanoi trip! Quang Phu Cau Incense Village was stunning, colorful, and incredibly photogenic, while the handicraft village provided fascinating insights into local traditions and culture. What made the experience truly exceptional was our guide, Kevin (Cường). He was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and made everyone feel welcome throughout the tour. Kevin went above and beyond by helping us take amazing photos at the best locations, ensuring we captured wonderful memories of the day. His enthusiasm and kindness made the tour even more enjoyable. Highly recommended, especially if you're lucky enough to have Kevin as your guide!

I joined the tour in the Incense Village and Conical Hat Village in Hanoi, and it was such a wonderful and insightful experience. The place itself is vibrant from the colorful incense sticks laid out like blooming flowers, to the traditional conical hat craft passed down through generations. A special shout-out to our guide, Irish, who made the whole tour truly memorable. She explained each step of the incense making and hat-weaving process clearly, including the cultural stories behind them. She was very attentive, always willing to help, and made sure everyone was comfortable and engaged. I really appreciated how she connected tradition with real-life stories it gave a deeper understanding of Vietnamese culture and the community behind these crafts. If you’re looking for an authentic local experience while in Hanoi, I highly recommend this tour and if you can, ask for Irish! She made it excellent from start to finish. 🧡✨

My friend and I really had fun during the half-day tour. Tung is a very accommodating and helpful. He’s very knowledgeable and takes stunning photos. The trip also includes free water and cool souvenirs. The service car was also very clean and comfortable. The highlight of our trip was designing the conical hats and making incense. It was a heartwarming cultural experience. Everything was great and I highly recommend this tour.

I joined the Incense Village & Conical Hat Making Day Tour via Klook, and it was a fantastic cultural experience. The incense village was truly Instagram-worthy — the bright red incense bundles laid out to dry made for stunning photos, while also offering insight into traditional craftwork. The conical hat making village was equally engaging, where we not only observed skilled artisans but also got the chance to try designing ourselves, showing a bit of artistic flair. The tour was well organized, our guide ZACK was knowledgeable, and the entire half-day felt authentic and memorable. Highly recommended for culture lovers.

It was an awesome experience. We had fun learning about Vietnamese culture and traditions. We liked the incense area where we took many photos and experienced the making of the incense itself. Our guide, Leon, was very helpful. He is an amazing tour guide. The hat-making was also an amazing experience. We were really creative, and it was fun making and designing the Vietnamese hats.

Tour Guide Rachel has a bubbly personaility and shared a wide knowledge about Ha Noi and its culture. She took pride in what she does and was ever willing to share information on what to eat, where to eat in Ha Noi. The itinerary was splendid in that it gave a behind-the-scenes glimpse of how incense sticks, conical hat and lacqueware are made - all these required skills beyond what you see in the finished product. The time allocated at each location was more than sufficient. The hands-on at each craft village truly left a lasting impression on a day well spent.. The home-cooked lunch by Mrs Dhao (Conical hat village) gave a heartfelt experience of Vietnamese family meals. This is a must-do tour in Ha Noi.

Had a fun day exploring the three different craft villages! The Incense Village is a must for photographers—the photos turned out impressive, and the natural scent of the incense was lovely. Our tour guide Kevin was amazing - he helped all of the team take the prettiest photos of the trip! We also visited the factory and listened to the stories behind the craft, which was interesting. ​Chuong Village was a bit quiet and below expectations (though there was a cute cat), but the Lacquer Village made up for it with all the decorations and friendly locals. Big shout out to Kevin again. The lacquer art stories and activities were engaging. The funniest part was the lacquer workshop—Kevin basically ended up doing all the lacquer work for us from A to Z! Thanks, Kevin!
