• Saturday / Sunday / Public holidays: 10:00-21:00
• Christmas Eve / Lunar New Year's Eve: 10:00-17:00
• Thursday(except public holidays), the first and second days of Chinese New Year: Closed

Terms and Conditions

• "The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: The Big Eight - Dinosaur Revelation" exhibition extended until 22 February 2023. The e-booking system will be updated at 10am every Monday on a weekly basis, and bookings can be made for the upcoming week (excluding the regular closing day on Thursday) upon the system's update.
• Quota limits apply to each session.
• All visitors of "The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: The Big Eight – Dinosaur Revelation" and permanent exhibition, including Museum Pass holders and children under the age of 4, are required to make an advance booking.
• Museum Pass holders can visit the permanent exhibition on the G/F and 1/F.
• Each email address is allowed to register one time slot on the same date.
• For each reservation is set up to 4 persons. The reservation QR code is only valid for entry on the registered date and time.
• Each QR code admits once only. All participants must enter the exhibition hall at the same time.
• All QR code cannot be transferred, resold or exchanged for cash.
• The QR code (shown on mobile devices or in printed copy) is required to present for admission.
• Due to capacity limit, please arrive within the admission time. There is no set time limit for viewing the exhibition.
• In case the email containing the QR code is accidentally deleted, please provide your email address and other related information to museum staff for checking.

• For application of group admission (For 20 or more visitors to enter the exhibition at the same time), please send an email to big8dinosaurshk@lcsd.gov.hk during office hours (Mondays to Fridays: 09:00-13:00; 14:00-17:30) .
• Entry reservations for the exhibition are required. Hong Kong Science Museum will not admit unregistered walk-in visitors. Successful online reservation does not guarantee entry to the museum, you may need to wait during the peak hours.
• Hong Kong Science Museum may from time to time change the opening hours of museum, close museum or any part of them temporarily and/or suspend or cancel any exhibition without prior notice, due to repair, maintenance, inclement weather, special events, or special circumstances. Please visit the webpage of the Hong Kong Science Museum for the latest information and make reservation again via E-booking system.
• Regarding any dispute arising from the activities, the decision of Hong Kong Science Museum shall be final and binding.
