  • Walkabout Wildlife Sanctuary is a working wildlife sanctuary in a natural bush setting, Heritage Listed to preserve the ancient Aboriginal cultural landscape.
  • It is home to rescued and unreleasable wildlife (and their offspring) plus animals in breed-for-wild-release programs to help in the recovery of endangered species.
  • You can meet kangaroos, koalas, wombats, dingoes, emus, cockatoos, pythons, and even meerkats!
  • For a small adventure, walk the trails to the Aboriginal sites and spot the free-roaming animals, or stay close to the visitor centre and join in the ranger-led activities.
