Travel around the Minamata, Ashihoku, and Yatsushiro areas of Kumamoto Prefecture. The southernmost tip of Kumamoto Prefecture is bounded by the Yatsushiro Sea (Shiranui Sea) to the west and the Kyushu Mountains to the east. The climate here is warm and the food is rich in delicacies.
This area was one of the first areas to launch the "Kumamon Farm" project, combining local agriculture, forestry, fishery and tourism. Tsunagi Town is also promoting the environmentally-themed "Tsunagi Farm" regional brand.
You can experience the rich resources of the southern Kumamoto region by picking citrus and strawberries. Enjoy a trip that will fill you up!
