In 1950, Minoyoshi moved to its current location and was renamed Takeshiguro in 1992, meaning "restaurant with a lush bamboo forest". Ten You (てんゆう) is one of the few restaurants in Kyoto to be awarded one Michelin star for its main course, tempura.
