Clean rooms and good night meals

I enjoyed my night at the hotel, staying with a group for our reunion. I was a little disappointed to get a room with a disabled shower, as I usually request NOT to have that (& must have forgotten this time). It was very slippery on the tiles & no mat/grab bar, although the underfloor heating was good. I realise they have tried to retain the character of the place, and all the rooms are modern/renovated. Could do with the same upgrade in lobby toilets, as they were definitely from another era. We had delicious meals and a hearty breakfast in the bar this morning too.

Great stay

Wigram is a lovely heritage building but the rooms are a mixture of modern and heritage. The room was cosy and we had a lovely comfortable bed and the temperature was just right in the rooms. The staff were amazing and when we were delayed on our travels they took the initiative to try and contact us through expedia to make sure we were okay. We hope we will get the chance to stay there again for more nights as it is only 15 minutes from the centre of Christchurch, airport, antartic centre and near the air museum.

Old building with lots of history. Rooms are refurbished. Water pressure was a bit on the lower side. Otherwise a good stay!

Lovely hotel. Clean and comfortable. Great dining options.

Nice room and friendly staff

The staff were great. The breakfast was fantastic. Building is a little old but the room we were in was updated.

Spotless room in an elegant building. Very friendly staff and an excellent restaurant. I would certainly stay here again.
