If you’ve stayed at a true five-star resort, I’d avoid this property because it will likely fall short of expectations. If you haven’t, it may be a fine first introduction to luxury. The rooms are nice, but the details are lacking. The gym is one of the worst i've ever seen, the tennis court is on the border of unusable, the food is very very very "meh...", and it’s in Umbria, not Tuscany, so this is not really a “Tuscan vacation.” I wasn’t completely let down. It’s fine.. definitely a 3/5 or a 3.4 out of 5, but it needs one or two more layers of polish to feel like a true five-star resort. It's OK, they tried.

Beautiful property. Just renovated. Wonderful restaurants. Friendly helpful kind staff. Great pool and spa. Reasonably priced for superb service and stunning accommodation. Highly recommend. 5 stars.
