It needs to be more advertised that you must contact them 72 hours before to receive check in info as they will not contact you. I contacted them over 24 hours before but no one replied and when I got to the hotel no one was there or was answering the phone, a couple of hours later I managed to get the check in details. The room is fine, bed not to my taste as it was too soft and as many reviews state the plumbing is noisy. I was a solo female traveller and didn’t love the thin sliding front door of the room, it didn’t feel very safe. Good TV and aircon. Breakfast was an apple and a packaged muffin, orange juice and there was a coffee machine.

Very dark almost goth like entry, room request was not met until 2nd day and it was, no hot water for two days, uncomfortable, bathroom rule to throw paper in basket was not in review, noisy pump every hour didn't allow a restful sleep, towels were dingy grey worn, stiff. No lighting at entry had to use cell to light up key entry. Heater in room didn't work. Balcony view ( really? View of street? ). Very disappointed, ruined visit couldn't enjoy it fully.

Breakfast was just some nibblies and was not expecting toilet with no flushing of TP

A great central location, very reasonably priced, to explore Catania from. The room is very clean and well presented although a number of things were broken (the shower leaked which meant the toilet macerator went off every 30 minutes through the night, the shower head itself was also broken, and the aircon remote didn't really work) but for the price it's a good deal and otherwise comfortable.

The room I booked was not the room I received
Owner rude and unavailable when problems arose
Demoralizing comments made by owner when complaints were made
AC didn’t work first night. Stuck on 18 Celsius. Contacted owner Nothing done until nex day. AC set by owner and remote removed from room
Last night owner turned off AC despite the high temperature outside and the remote had been removed the previous night so it could not be turned on
No breakfast

Door to room was not a secure door but a door used for closets or wardrobe. Key was nearly impossible to use and anyone could see in room by looking through key hole! Lights on stairs were dark and unsafe
Curtains on window were plastic and too narrow to provide privacy from rooms across road
Toilet would run off and on and omit fowl odor that filled room
Streets outside were full of graffiti and trash. People could be heard all hours breaking bottles and yelling
One half ounce shampoo / body wash per day. No soap for hand washing. Totally unsanitary !Pillows were hard and uncomfortable
When I informed owner I would file a complaint with Expedia I was told “Go ahead”
I felt unsafe in the room at night and slept with my phone. The owner was totally absent from property physically and mentally
Hotel should be removed from Expedia website
I would like a FULL refund

It is right in the middle of the coolest part of Catania. Good reasonable restaurants with nice, friendly staffs. You MUST SEE the Roman amphitheater a few blocks away! The rooms are big and clean, coffee maker, light breakfast food provided, oranges and bananas in lobby.
Great shower and small, cool balcony for fresh air. Taxis have trouble finding it. You have to book them through Uber. Go to a nearby restaurant. **Your room door slides open** It took me awhile to figure that out. Duh!
