Fantastic

This was a beautiful property in the northern part of Venice. It was great that it accommodated our family of 5 and our kids loved that the room had 2 floors. It had a great breakfast with a lot of options. It is about a 25 minute walk to the Rialto bridge and about 40 minute walk to Doge Palace. Walking around is a great way to see and experience the city, but if you are going to want to see the main sights on the opposite side of the city you may want to get the 24 hour water bus pass. Online told me that walking would be the fastest way to get around, but with 3 kids I would have preferred to take the water bus more often to let them rest their legs. It was within easy walking distance to a water bus stop (S. Alvise) and an Alilaguna (airport water boat transfer) stop (Madonna del'Orto). The wifi worked well, but be aware that cell service is spotty around Venice. The hotel will give you a paper map, but downloading the Venice map in Google maps in advance will help you navigate.

Our family ran into unexpected passport issues and were tuned away at the gate from our flight to Venice (family in tears, we missed two full days of our trip). We tried to do a partial cancellation with this hotel via the Hotels.com service team but they ended up not responding to that team after initially asking us for additional documentation for our situation (which we did end up providing). I was hoping for more compassion for our situation from the hotel vs. not responding at all to follow-ups. Can’t speak about the hotel quality itself, but the service is definitely not recommended.

Perfect in every way! Beautiful and immaculately clean. The front desk staff were very helpful and professional. The breakfast was fantastic! Appreciation to the kitchen/waiters, thank you for the wonderful service you provided. A big thank you to the housekeepers! Our room was perfectly prepared for our family. The Eurostars Hotel was a lovely place for us to stay during our short weekend trip to Venice. The location was great and tucked away from all the crowds, but just a short walk away from anything we wanted to do. I absolutely loved Venice, and half of that came from where we stayed, so I definitely plan to be back. The room was clean, the property was very nice, and the staff was so kind.
