The staff were welcoming and friendly from the moment I arrived. Since I got there early, I decided to book a pampering massage at the spa—one of the best decisions I made! Even though I wasn’t fully prepared, the staff were incredibly accommodating. I highly recommend the massage and bath experience. They even take photos for you, which was such an unexpected and thoughtful touch. The room was lovely, clean, and comfortable. I especially loved the view, and the shower was amazing! I enjoyed both the room service and dining at the restaurant, and I also recommend attending their cultural dance night on Thursdays. The complimentary shuttle to the town center was another great perk. I also took advantage of their private tours. They work with you to create an itinerary based on what you’d like to see, so it’s helpful to have a plan in mind. My guide, Dagus, was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience enjoyable. I especially loved the Ubud day tour. The cultural tour, however, is something I think you could easily do on your own, so if I were recommending one to a friend, I’d probably skip that one. Overall, I had a memorable stay and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ubud.

The stay at the Udaya hotel by far exceeded our expectations. It is so beautiful. The staff were so lovely and kind to us. They always made sure we had everything we needed, if we did need anything we would message on WhatsApp. The room we stayed at was the Ceroring. It was incredible. Private pool. They cleaned it twice even if we didn’t need it. They always topped up our water bottles in the bathroom, tea area and mini fridge. The food was incredible. Free breakfast was delicious. We had a couples massage that included a facial, flower bath and food. It was a very decent price for an experience that will last a life time. We had one tour with our driver Deegus. We highly recommend him to be your driver. He was so informative and he also became our guide through the whole experience. The monkey forest was our favourite spot, and it wouldn’t have been the same experience without Deegus. They also had a full moon dinner that had dancers as well; which was a really cool experience. They even invited us up there to dance with them. Another highlight of this place is the free shuttle to town. The Ubud palace is there, tons of markets and places to eat! It was a very a relaxing trip. Very quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend to anyone and we will be returning on our next trip to Bali.

Absolutely incredible stay from start to finish. The resort is beyond gorgeous — every detail felt luxurious, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. The staff truly made the experience unforgettable with their kindness, warmth, and attention to every little detail. We felt so welcomed and taken care of the entire time. The food was phenomenal — honestly some of the best meals we’ve had while traveling. Every restaurant and breakfast experience exceeded expectations. This resort created the perfect balance of relaxation, beauty, and exceptional service. We already cannot wait to come back. Highly, highly recommend!

Beautiful resort with amazing staff

The Udaya is absolutely beautiful. The staff are friendly and very will to help out. Communication was made very easily. The only downside to our stay is there was always ants in our bed. Every night we had to look through the covers and sheets to pick out the ants before bed. Staff at reception were notified about the issue.
