Host was friendly and accommodating to the needs of ours as older persons. The shuttle service to the train was great Amenities scrupulously clean and room was warm. Location is good for nearby food outlets and microwave to ensure food is enjoyable. Would definitely stay at this Motel again.

This place was average amongst a sea of motel offerings. The main let down was the staff - no reply when asking late check out twice, despite a message asking for any request. Then on the day of check in around 5pm no one was at the reception, the door bell didn’t work even though a sign said to ring the bell if reception unattended. When asked about late check out (by an hour), was told that’s all good before being advised it’s $15 an hour. When we said no thanks then got a lecture about it. Last but not least, the heater and heatpump didnt work at first and had to be fixed. Heater still didn’t work. The room’s windows were all open on a cold day. Found being right on a major road also a minus as traffic was often backed up to a crawl.

We had a lovely stay here before catching the train the next morning. The room was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near the train station. The decor is simple, but we stayed here for the ease of getting to the train. The staff were outstanding, very friendly and helpful (in spite of me not grasping things at first). For entertainment, you could access Apple TV, Disney+, Netflix and YouTube on the smart tv. They also arranged a transfer to the train station, most helpful. Would certainly stay here again.

Hotel owner is super friendly. They arranged our transfer to TranzAlpine station and held our luggage and items in our room at no extra charge. Effectively providing an extra night for free which was very appreciated and generous. We were walking distance to restaurants and other amenities. Very convenient place and highly recommended hotel to stay.

Staff were courteous. Place is not in good shape or in a good area. Bed was not made up during our stay but towels were replenished. No AC in room just fan or open windows for ventilation. Would not stay again, although was handy for the train station. Motel did provide a free transfer to the station why was appreciated.
