Space Hotel

A fun hostel if you're looking for sometging different. Whilst a lot of hostels these dsys have pods, this hostel has them sort of resemble what old school sci-fi movie interior of space ships. The bonus of these is they can be locked both when you are inside or out. You unlock it with your key (a credit card type card). Same card opens a space ship imagined locker which is big enough for your daypack on the bottom sgekf and you are supposed to store your shoes on the top shelf. You can just chuck your main carry on bag in the pod in the day, if you are really paeanoid you could fit beside it in the pod. If you still use a 90 litre backpack there is room next to pod. Showers and toilets like the better hostels aren't in the room So you're not getting woken by pipes abd shower noises. However the space pods make a noise wgen unlocking and you've got to climb over a little barrier through the door which is plastic and makes a vit of noise. Wifi is good snd works in pod. The main rooms light does come in through the pod wall. Showers are a bit small to keep everything dry. Shower gel, shampoo is provided, as is a towel. Havibg just come from traveling Japan/South Korea the toilet wasn't as advanced as you would expect a space hostel to be. Didnt like having to pay a 50 dollar cash deposit, being they don't check the pod before giving back when checkout, what is the point? Also havent experienced this $10 cash tax (on top of tax already paid through Wotif) anywhere else

The Space Hotel is well thought out with a lot of time and attention put into the property. The staff were helpful, always available and kept the place clean. The location can't be beat and the price was great (even though the price Hotels.com tells you is not the total price..you will get charged an additional tax on arrival). My only complaints are that the whole place smelled like men's urinal disinfectant the first few days (I stayed a week...not sure if I got used to the smell by the end) and that the door and capsule lock mechanisms are so loud that the noise from people constantly going out at all hours from my room and the room next door kept me awake (if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs), oh and the bed mattress is super thin so not too comfortable.I would recommend it for short stays.

I highly recommend the Space Hotel. It was cozy and comfortable. Great location and friendly staff.

Washer is broken, tv is broken, ac barely works, and the wifi is some of the worst reliability ive seen in SE Asia. If you are a digital nomad/ expat do not stay here. Wifi would disconnect/ outage 10 times a day, often for 5-10 minutes at a time.

Clean room

Decent for a capsule hotel. The capsule was spacious and comfortable. The only negative was the shared facilities. It wasn't air conditioned so it was always hot and muggy. But it was relatively clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great. It's within walking distance of many markets and attractions. Plenty of restaurants. The metro station is a 5-min walk. The price was very affordable for budget travelers. And it's a good step up from a hostel.

Good Central location with subway and train station near by. Capsule is good for privacy but not so for ventilation. Not all functions work in my capsule. if area is ok for you, and the price is reasonable then go.

I have very mixed feelings about the place. Very cool concept. My capsule needed a bit of TLC some lights and panels not working properly. The room was super cold whilst the rest of the property was on the warm side. With individually controlled temperature within the capsule. There were only 2 loos and 4 showers on my floor which I didn't think was a lot but luckily it wasn't the issue as the people at the hostel had very different sleeping/awake patterns. The location is good with many food choices and attractions near by. Public transport in walking distance. There is lingering smell of disinfectant throughout the property. I cannot decide if I would stay again.
