We had a terrible experience with our stay at this hotel. Our first room given to us had a terrible smell of harsh paint and chemicals. It was unbearable and instantly gave us headaches. The staff was kind enough to switch rooms for us and explained how they were in the middle of some renovations, which I can understand. However, it was very unpleasant for guests.
Our second room was a lot better, but you could still smell feints of that paint from the air vents. We opened our windows and it seemed to help make it bearable. But overall, this was just very unpleasant.

Great location near train station and bus stop (bus that goes to Fukuoka int'l airport). Family Mart is just across the street. There's also a 24-hr tax-free cosmetics and drug store across the street (which also sells some food souvenirs that are slightly cheaper than those at the train station and some drinks, yogurt, sweets and snacks that are cheaper than convenience stores).

Very convienent and easy walking to everything one would need in the area. However, the room was very small. Traveling with 2 adults and a toddler plus luggage, there was not much room to move around. We had friends and family staying at Mars Garden across the street and their rooms were large and luxurious. But we spent most our time traveling around the neighborhood, and only sleeping in the room, so it was worth it in the end.

Although the hotel facilities are a bit old, the twin room is spacious and there is a comfortable long sofa.
